Many look upon a spa experience as being beneficial to health, whilst others simply crave pampering as part of a well deserved beauty treat.The more jaundiced may take the view that the treatment in the spa is often just a softening up process to persuade the utterly relaxed guest to part with even more of their cash for a range of spa branded products.

It’s true that some leading spas have perfected a series of products that can be used domestically  without needing a therapist or special equipment and many of these products  are “as used”  in the spa’s own treatments.  They would argue that these gifts for women are essential for those who don’t have the time to actually attend a session at the spa of their choice.  Sometimes it’s the customers themselves who insist on having a reminder of the indulgent treatment or prefer spa quality products to pamper hands, feet, legs and face.

Gift vouchers are often an incentive for otherwise time or cash strapped women to make the effort to attend a spa day.They are consistent in that you can use the same potions and creams that seemed to work so well in the treatment itself.  That’s especially true if you are pregnant and have increased skin sensitivity and sense of smell as well as the “bump” to contend with.   Some women find the smells and textures of otherwise market leading creams and lotions to be unpleasant and prefer spa quality cosmetics and creams specially developed with pregnancy in mind.

Whatever the motivation, a health spa can certainly make you feel good about your body, yourself and the world around you. Women who take care of themselves have an inner glow that shows on their faces and in the way they carry themselves.Spa days are as much about providing the time, space and expertise for women to renew that glow as they are about maintaining health and vitality.
